IPOH, 24 May 2021 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad today announced the distribution of face shields and hygiene kits to more than 5,000 security personnel on duty during the implementation of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in the state.

"The state government appreciates the commitment of all officers and security personnel working together to break the chain of COVID-19 infection which is increasingly worrying," said Menteri Besar Dato Saarani Mohamad during a virtual meeting with top security officers at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

He also expressed his appreciation for the sacrifice and spirit of every member of the security forces in carrying the trust and being the backbone of the community to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The virtual meeting was also attended by Perak Police Chief Dato' Pahlawan Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, Perak National Security Council Director Khairul Ridzuan Mat Said, Perak Civil Defence Force Director Noor Azam Johari and Perak RELA Director Kamarul Idzham Kamal.
