IPOH, 23 December 2020 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad today announced the portfolios of the Perak State Executive Council Members, about two weeks after he was appointed to lead the state government. 

Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad, who is also the State Assemblyman (ADUN) for Kota Tampan, will head the portfolio for Islamic Religion, Finance, Security, Land, Natural Resources, Economic Planning and GLCs.

ADUN Semanggol Razman Zakaria will be responsible for the Plantation, Agriculture and Food Industry portfolio, while ADUN Selama Mohd Akmal Kamarudin will hold the Health, Science, Environment and Green Technology portfolio.

ADUN Sungai Manik Dato' Zainol Fadzi Paharudin, the newly appointed Exco member, will be the Rural Development, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Committee Chairman.

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, National Integration and Civil Society portfolio will be held by ADUN Kuala Kurau Dato' Abdul Yunus Jamahri.

ADUN Changkat Jering Ahmad Saidi Mohamad Daud will hold the Education, Higher Education and Human Resource portfolio, while ADUN Tualang Sekah Dato’ Nolee Ashilin Mohamed Radzi will be in charge of the Housing, Local Government and Tourism portfolio.

ADUN Rungkup Dato’ Shahrul Zaman Yahya will chair the Industry, Investment and Corridor Development portfolio and ADUN Kampung Gajah Dato’ Dr Wan Norashikin Wan Noordin will hold the Women and Family Development, Social Welfare and NGO portfolio.

The Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport portfolio will be held by ADUN Lintang Dato' Mohd Zolkafly Harun, while ADUN Bota Khairul Shahril Mohamed will be responsible for the Youth and Sports, Communications and Multimedia portfolio.

The list of portfolios was announced by Dato' Saarani Mohamad in a brief ceremony held at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.
