IPOH, 8 October 2022 - The Perak State Level National Sports Day 2022 (HSN 2022) celebration was lively again with the participation of thousands of people through various organised events.

State Rural Development, Entrepreneurs and Cooperatives Committee Chairman Dato' Zainol Fadzi Paharudin said communities from various backgrounds have come together to celebrate the Perak State Level HSN 2022. 

"We can see women, children, old people, young people, disabled people (OKU) as well as Perak athletes were also present to lend their support to the celebration.

"As a concerned government, this spirit is what we want towards the formation of a healthy and active ‘Malaysian Family'," he said.

Dato’ Zainol Fadzi, representing Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, said this at the Perak State Level HSN 2022 Opening Ceremony at the Polo Grounds here today.

Also present were State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and Perak Youth and Sports Department Director Mohd Soufi Mohd Ibrahim.

Dato' Zainol Fadzi added that such an atmosphere can fuel the spirit of unity among the community which is part of the national agenda.

"The HSN celebration is one of the efforts towards supporting the Healthy Malaysia National Agenda (ANMS) in its goal of making the people healthy and prosperous via the cultivation of a healthy lifestyle and environmental sustainability that make health a priority.

"It is also in line with the agenda of the Prosperous Perak Plan 2030, which reflects the aspirations of the people in terms of wellbeing, security, and sustainable, inclusive and dynamic socioeconomic development," he said.

The Perak State Level HSN 2022 celebration, from 7 to 9 October, targeted the involvement of 25,000 people by providing a variety of interesting activities, such as Mega Aerobic Challenge, HSN Fun Walk, HSN Fun Ride, Active Disabled Carnival and many more.
