Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul 1444H Celebration.

The Sultan said that the youth must be engaged, their voices and views need to be heard and understood.

IPOH, 9 October 2022 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim graced the Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul 1444H Celebration at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan this morning.

Themed 'Meremajakan Gerakan Pembangunan Ummah', the Sultan said that the youth must be engaged, their voices and views need to be heard and understood, and their presence recognised in order to implement community development programmes which are more contemporary and relevant to current needs and challenges.

"It has become a sunnah, the old needs to be renewed so that the current needs and wants can be fulfilled. The ummah development movement needs to be rejuvenated with contemporary values ​​through a fresher, more strategic and visionary effort in line with the current rapid change and progress," he said.

His Royal Highness was accompanied by HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa, HH Raja Puan Besar Perak Raja Nazhatul Shima Sultan Idris A'fifullah Shah and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah.

Also present were Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini, Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Dato' Mohd Yusop Husin and State Exco members.

At the event, Sultan Nazrin presented the Johan Jurus Seni Silat Masjid-Masjid Perak 2022 Award to the Seni Silat Gerakan Warisan Keramat Juang, Masjid Jamek Baru Gopeng.

The Pegawai Masjid or Imam Award was presented to Md Sharafi Zakaria, Bilal Award to Abdul Latif Mohd Yusof and Siak Award to Samsudin Arop.

The Tokoh Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Award to the Perak Peninsula Malay Student Association.

The Media Practitioner Award to Sinar Harian Bureau Chief Saifullah Ahmad and Pendakwah Award to Ustazah Rokiah Man.

Each received RM3,000 in cash, a plaque and certificate.

Finally, the Keluarga Mithali Award was presented to Ustaz Ramli Yusof who received RM5,000 in cash, a plaque and certificate.
