KUALA KANGSAR, 22 November 2022 - A total of 10 members of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) took the oath of office as Perak State Executive Councillors before HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah at Istana Iskandariah here.

Also gracing the ceremony were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris A'fifullah Shah.

They comprised three Barisan Nasional (BN) ADUNs, namely Dato' Mohd Zolkafly Harun (Lintang), Salbiah Mohamed (Temengor) and Khairudin Abu Hanipah (Belanja).

The others were from Pakatan Harapan (PH), namely Dato' Seri Dr. Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin (Sungai Rapat), A. Sivanesan (Sungkai), Loh Sze Yee (Jalong), Teh Kok Lim (Aulong), Sandrea Ng Shy Ching (Teja), Mohd Azlan Helmi Helmi (Tualang Sekah) and Woo Kah Leong (Pasir Bedamar).

All of them then signed the oath of office witnessed by Ipoh High Court Chief Judge Dato' Abdul Wahab Mohamed.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Jeneral Dato’ Seri Diraja Tan Sri (Dr) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin (Bersara) and Perak State Senate Member Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini.

In the same development yesterday, Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad was sworn in as the 15th Perak Menteri Besar after BN and PH agreed to collaborate to form the Perak state government.
