Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad launching the HRPB Medical Transfusion Department Bus at the Indera Mulia Stadium grounds.

IPOH, 12 June 2023 - The Perak State Government conducted the Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme series 5/2023 at the Indera Mulia Stadium this evening.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said besides the 92 customer service counters provided, this series is part of the events at the Pesta Budaya Nusantara@Ipoh and Classic Car Exhibition Programme organised by the Ipoh City Council since10 June until tonight.

"The programme, organised in conjunction with the anniversary of Ipoh City, aims to enliven the Visit Ipoh Year 2023 celebration through community arts and culture programmes.

"It comprises a combination of performances from Nanning City, China and Medan City, Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Seremban City Council and Historic Melaka City Council," he said at a press conference after the programme.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco members.

Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad also launched the Medical Transfusion Department Bus of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) at the Indera Mulia Stadium grounds.

He added that the state government was pleased to donate RM300,000.

According to a media statement from HRPB, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat also presented a contribution of RM50,000.

The bus aims to save manpower and operating costs as equipment and personnel can be brought together compared to before where two blood donation vans were used, and indirectly can enhance promotion moving from one location to another.
