The Perak Menteri Besar welcoming the Consul General of China in Penang.

IPOH, 26 July 2023 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad today received a courtesy call from the Consul General of China in Penang HE Zhou Youbin.

HE Zhou Youbin's arrival was welcomed by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, State Tourism, Investment Industry and Corridor Development Committee chairman Loh Sze Yee and State Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman Teh Kok Lim.

The delegation was then taken to the Perak Menteri Besar’s Office in Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here for a discussion session on the potential economic cooperation in Perak.

The visit was a platform for the exchange of information, in addition to strengthening bilateral relations between the Perak State Government and China.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching.
