IPOH, 10 November 2023 - A total of 98 four-year-old students from 10 Taska Genius under the Perak State Secretariat (PSUK) who were about to complete their learning session were celebrated in a graduation ceremony.

Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman said such a ceremony should be held to give meaning to the lives of our children who will inherit the country's future.

"Every year, the Taska Genius management never forgets to hold a ceremony to celebrate the four-year-old children who will soon finish their learning session.

"This ceremony is the climax of the annual programme of Taska Genius as noted in the calendar that is released every year. For the first time this year, the graduation ceremony is held on a large scale," she said.

She said this in her a speech at the Taska Genius Graduation Ceremony under the Perak State Secretariat.

Also present were Manjung District Officer Shamsul Ridzuan Idris, Hilir Perak District Officer Saidi Shaari, PSUK Management Services Division Secretary Nurul Jaswa Abd Hamid and Taska Genius Parents and Educators Association Chairman Munaliza Aziz.

Dato Nor Sham added that besides the excellent infrastructure, the Taska Genius curriculum is based on the Genius Education Curriculum by outlining specific objectives.

"Among them are practising spiritual and moral values, understanding the environment that helps early literacy, mastering early language skills, the ability to think logically, the ability to master mathematics early and concentrate, understanding the environment, self-management abilities and exploring new ideas through various materials and creative activities.

"All these objectives are translated via the learning modules in and out of the classroom, as have been meticulously and carefully arranged in the annual calendar prepared by the Taska Genius management," she elaborated.

Meanwhile, the graduation ceremony was also brightened up with performances by four-year-old students from 10 Taska Genius under the Perak State Secretariat.

Among the Taska Genius involved were Taska Genius from SUK Perak; Kinta, Batu Gajah; Batang Padang; Hilir Perak; Hulu Perak; Perak Tengah; Larut, Matang and Selama; Kuala Kangsar; Manjung; Kerian and Kampar.
