The Perak Menteri Besar officiating the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Fishing Programme.

TANJUNG RAMBUTAN, 10 December 2023 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin was present to enliven the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Fishing Programme with Perak Menteri Besar at the Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta Gardening Unit Fishing Pond here.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, State Assemblymen and heads of departments and agencies.

The programme’s objective was to encourage the cultivation of a healthy lifestyle, mentally and physically, in addition to fostering the spirit of unity and friendship with each other.

Three competitions were held at the programme, namely the heaviest fish, the most fish and the earliest fish caught via three categories - VVIP (MB, Ex-Officio, Exco Members and State Assemblymen), VIP (department heads and district officers) and open (departments, agencies and media).

In the VVIP category, the winner was Tronoh State Assemblyman Steven Tiw Tee Sing, followed by Ayer Kuning State Assemblyman Ishsam Shahruddin and Malim Nawar State Assemblyman Bavani Veraiah.

The winner in the VIP category was Kampar District Council President Ahmad Suqairy Alias, ​​followed by Batang Padang District Officer Ahmad Redhauddin Ahmad Shokori and Perak Irrigation and Drainage Department Director Ir. Ts. Ahmad Shahrir Md. Nazirite.

The open category champion was Mohd Rashdan Shapial with Ir. Zulhairi Abdul Wahab in second place and Muhd ​​Hafiz Abdul Rahim third.

The earliest fish caught category was won by Datin Seri Aezer Zubin and the most fish caught winner was Murasaki sports house.

The Perak Sejahtera 2030 Fishing Programme with Perak Menteri Besar involved the participation of nearly 200 people.

Hopefully, such a programme will be the best platform in improving communication regarding targets and aspirations in realising the Perak Sejahtera 2030 agenda.
