The arrival of His Royal Highness was greeted by Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Dato' Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid and Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

IPOH, 23 February 2024 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Official Opening Ceremony of the Second Year of the 15th Perak State Legislative Assembly at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The arrival of His Royal Highness and HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim was greeted by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid and State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

The ceremony began with the singing of the Perak state anthem, accompanied by the Royal Malaysian Air Force Academy Band led by Lieutenant Mohd Hanif Che Razak.

HRH Sultan Nazrin then inspected the Main Guard of Honour mounted by three officers and 103 members of other ranks from the Royal Army Engineers Regiment, 2 Division, Camp Sangro Taiping led by Major Mohd Nurul Hasan.

The Main Guard of Honour was commanded by Colonel Abdul Rahim Hamzah as the inspection officer.

After that, Their Royal Highnesses were escorted to the Royal Chamber before proceeding to the Assembly Hall to deliver his Royal Opening Address of the Second Year of the 15th Perak State Legislative Assembly.
