KUALA LUMPUR, 6 July 2024 -HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and HRH Raja Permaisuri of Perak Tuanku Zara Salim graced the Book Launch on ‘Globalization: Perak's Rise, Relative Decline and Regeneration’ at Hotel St. Regis here.

Also gracing the event were Their Royal Highnesses’ children HH Raja Kecil Besar Perak Raja Dato' Seri Azlan Muzaffar Shah Nazrin Shah and HH Raja Dato' Seri Nazira Safya Nazrin Shah.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Perak State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohamad Zahir Abdul Khalid, Communications and Digital Minister Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.

Kinta Territorial Chief Dato' Ab Wahab Azizul Hassan and Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) President Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini also attended the event.

The third book authored by Sultan Nazrin emphasises several priorities, such as promoting fair income distribution, retaining talented workers, and creating more high-value jobs.

Sultan Nazrin said he hopes that Perak can look forward to long-lasting prosperity.

His Royal Highness added that by taking a long-term perspective, he felt that a deeper insight could be gained into Perak's current situation, and the various challenges that lie ahead, especially in this period of heightened global uncertainty.
