HH Raja Muda Perak gracing the Thanksgiving Ceremony in conjunction with HRH Sultan of Perak’s birthday.

IPOH, 1 November 2024 - About 3,000 congregants attended a ‘Majlis Kesyukuran dan Doa Selamat’ (Thanksgiving Ceremony) in conjunction with the Birthday of HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah at Masjid Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque here.

Gracing the ceremony were HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato' Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran @ Raja Zaid, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Jen. Dato' Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin (Rtd), State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, Kinta Territorial Chief Dato' Ab. Wahab Azizul Hassan, and heads of state and federal departments.

The ceremony began with the reading of Surah Yassin and Doa Selamat, followed by Friday prayers led by Masjid Sultan Azlan Shah Mosque chief imam Ustaz Syed Mohd Muzaffar Syed Azlan.

Earlier, he delivered a Friday sermon titled 'Raja Adil Negara Stabil'.

In the sermon by the chief imam, he said the people must obey a just ruler to ensure the stability of the state and the harmony of society.

This is because the royal institution is a pillar of stability that must be defended and acts as the protector of the state and nation, upholding the trust to fulfil its responsibilities within the Federal Constitution and the State Constitution of Perak.
