Dato' Ahmad Suaidi calls on all PSUK Perak divisions to preserve and enhance harmony with one another.

IPOH, 28 February 2025 – Harmony between every division in an organisation is not only an important element, but also a solid foundation in ensuring that collective success can be achieved.

State Secretary (SS) Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim said in order to achieve the desired goals, each division in the Perak State Secretariat must preserve and enhance harmony with one another.

"This is because, when we help each other and understand each other's responsibilities and roles, it will facilitate the implementation of tasks more effectively and proactively.

"Thoughts like 'this is not my job' or 'I don't have to know about the tasks of other departments' need to be discarded, because everyone must realise that change, reform, and success can only be achieved with the full commitment of every member in the organisation," he said in his speech at the State Secretary’s Meeting With State Secretariat Staff 2025.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, State Economic Planning Unit Senior Deputy Director Haslinda Alias, and Perak State Secretariat heads of departments.

Apart from emphasising on the importance of harmony, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi also called on the office staff to maintain their behaviour, integrity and image as civil servants, because they serve as ambassadors representing their respective organisations or departments.

"Every action, speech and behaviour of us as civil servants reflects our noble values, high ethics, and the level of professionalism that is the main foundation of the civil service.

"Therefore, we must always exhibit ethical, disciplined and responsible attitudes, both in the workplace and in daily life, so that public trust in government institutions continues to be preserved," he said.

Earlier, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi had the opportunity to attend a Yassin recitation and doa selamat ceremony held with staff of the building in conjunction with the welcoming of the month of Ramadan.
