HRH Sultan of Perak gracing the Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1447H/2025M.

IPOH, 4 September 2025 - HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1447H/2025M at the Casuarina Convention Centre in Meru Raya here.

Accompanying the Sultan were HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim and HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, HH Raja Kecil Sulong Perak Raja Dato’ Seri Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah Raja Ashman Shah and HH Datin Seri Nadia Esham Esham, HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato’ Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran @ Raja Zaid and HH Datin Seri Dato' Rokiah Ibrahim, State Assembly Speaker Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid and wife Datin Aznee Abu Samah, and State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and wife Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad.

State Legal Adviser Dato’ Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) President Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd. Annuar Zaini, Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Dato’ Harith Fadzilah Abdul Halim, Perak Territorial Chiefs, and state and federal department heads were also in attendance.

With the theme “Ukhwah Islamiah Asas Penyatuan Ummah”, the ceremony began with the recitation of holy verses of the al-Quran and mass selawat upon Prophet Muhammad SAW.

At the event, Sultan Nazrin presented the Keluarga Ammar bin Yasir Award (Tokoh Keluarga Mithali) to Umi Kalsom Bahak. The mother of six children received RM10,000 in cash, an Umrah package worth RM9,000 and a plaque.

The Ibnu Abbas Award (Tokoh Pendakwah) was given to Wan Mas Indra Juja and the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Award to the Perak Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM).

The Tokoh Imam Award was presented to Rosli Mat, the Bilal Award to Sirat Abdullah, the Siak Award to Mat Yusoff Suliman and the Special Award to Ismail Muhamad Zin.

All the award recipients each took home RM5,000 in cash and a plaque as a token of appreciation and recognition for their services and contributions to the advancement of Islamic teachings in the state.
