IPOH, 16 October 2025 – The spirit towards Perak Sejahtera 2030 continues to be ignited through the Menjulang Aspirasi Perak Sejahtera 2030 Programme held today at Dewan Bankuet, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The programme, organised by the Human Resource Management Division (BPSM) in collaboration with the State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN), Perak State Secretariat, brought together more than 800 participants comprising civil servants from various state and federal departments and agencies.

The programme aimed to strengthen civil servants’ understanding and appreciation of the state development direction based on the Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan.

In his opening speech, State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim emphasised that the implementation of Perak Sejahtera 2030 is a comprehensive plan designed to strengthen the economy, human capital development, environmental sustainability and the social well-being of the people.

“This plan has been designed for everyone to ensure that efforts to serve the community and state development can be implemented effectively. It must bring benefits and impact to all levels of society,” he said.

He also stressed that carelessness and complacency must be avoided among civil servants. Instead, the values of responsibility, sincerity and teamwork must continue to be fostered to ensure that every state development agenda can be achieved effectively.

“Responsibility must not only be instilled in all of us, but also demonstrated through action. Therefore, we must move together step by step as a team – only then can we best address every challenge,” he added.

According to him, the government’s commitment in planning and implementing state development must be clearly translated to the target groups so that every initiative outlined truly benefits the people, in line with the goal of Perak Makmur, Rakyat Sejahtera.

Also present were State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato’ Nor Sham Rahman, BPSM Division Secretary Mohd Azraie Harun and UPEN Senior Deputy Director Haslinda Alias.
