IPOH, 25 February 2021- Perak State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim presented prizes to the winners of the Short Video and Poster Competition Themed New Normal.

The competition, organised by the Perak State Secretariat, was held to enhance the New Normal Enculturisation Campaign in the efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

In the competition, the first place for the short video category (group) was won by the Perak Civil Defence Force, represented by Captain Sharizal Hussin who took home cash prize RM1,500 and a certificate of appreciation.

The second place went to the Kerian District Dental Health Office, represented by Dr. Loshnee Karpanan, while the third place went to the Tapah District Council, represented by Syahida Muhamad Zin.

The second place and the third place winners took home RM1,000 and RM500 respectively and a certificate of appreciation.

For the poster category (individual), the first place was won by Mohamad Rabiul Khairi Abdul Rashid from Tapah District Council, who took home cash prize RM500 and a certificate of appreciation.

The second place went to Parthivan Veeranan from Tanjung Malim District Council, while the third place went to Azmi Mohamed Asmayatim from Perak State Secretariat.

Each took home cash prize RM400 and RM300 respectively and a certificate of appreciation.

The prize giving ceremony was held briefly at the Perak State Secretariat Building following the Conditional Movement Control Order (PKPB) to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Perak.

Also present was Corporate Division Principal Assistant State Secretary Anita Amri.
