IPOH, 7 September 2021- State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim presented prizes to the winners of the Happy Merdeka Competition in conjunction with the National Month Celebration 2021.

In the competition, the State Economic Planning Unit emerged as champion and was represented by its Director Halizah Sipun, who received cash RM1,500.

Meanwhile, the runner-up, State Finance Office was represented by Assistant State Financial Officer Khairul Jamal. The third place, won by the Local Government Division was represented by its Division Secretary Mufidah Mahfodz.

The second and third places took home cash RM1,000 and RM700 respectively. A framed best photo and certificate of participation were also presented to every division winner.

The competition, organised by the Perak State Secretariat Corporate Division was participated by every division in the State Secretariat Building with the aim of creating an atmosphere of independence with creative and innovative decorations as well as fostering the spirit of independence among the staff.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Management) Nor Sham Rahman and Corporate Division Assistant State Secretary Zuriati Zainal. The ceremony was held briefly in accordance with the new normal at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.
