MANJUNG, 10 September 2021 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Saarani Mohamad went on an inspection to Taman Samudera, Seri Manjung which has been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) from 5 to 18 September 2021.

Accompanying him were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Health, Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee Chairman Mohd Akmal Kamarudin and Manjung District Officer Shamsul Ridzuan Idris.

The visit was to express support and encouragement to the frontliners who have worked so hard to ensure the safety of the residents in breaking the COVID-19 chain. The EMCO involved more than 10,000 residents from 2,260 homes where the main road, Jalan Dato' Yu Neh Huat had been closed.

Meanwhile, Dato' Saarani also had the opportunity to visit the Goods Collection and Distribution Centre at the Manjung District and Land Office Badminton Hall. The items were donated by various parties through the Social Welfare Department and distribution was made by several related agencies such as the Malaysian Volunteer Corps (RELA), Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) and Manjung District and Land Office.
