IPOH, 12 APRIL 2022 - The state government, including departments and agencies, remain committed to assist the people in resolving any problems faced during the Perak State Government's Clients Day Programme Series 2/2022.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said finally this programme can be continued again after having to be postponed due to the COVID-19 cases which was worrying at that time.

“Once we started the programme last February and it was supposed to continue on Tuesday of the 2nd week of every month, but we had to postpone it to March due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

"Now, we can continue after the National Security Council brought us to the endemic phase," he told reporters after the programme at Stadium Indera Mulia.

He said the programme received encouraging response even during Ramadan.

“Our record today is 468 visitors with a total of 169 complaints received.

"The programme involves 109 customer service counters, 20 exhibition booths and 5 mobile service counters," he added.

Among the complaints received were those related to land issues and floods that often occurred in certain areas.

"We have done our best to help the people present from all over Perak and some of them do not know who to contact to complain about their problems, so we help them channel their complaints to the relevant parties," he said.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Zulazlan Abu Hassan, State Exco members and all department heads.
