The Prime Minister officiating the Perak Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour 2022 Closing Ceremony at Dato' Sagor Circuit.

PASIR SALAK, 3 July 2022 - The Perak Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour (JAKM) 2022 fifth series at the Dato' Sagor Circuit ended with the Closing Ceremony by Prime Minister Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob here today.

The Prime Minister’s arrival at about 11.30 am was greeted by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and Pasir Salak Member of Parliament Dato' Sri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, accompanied by the beat of ‘kompang’ by about 30 members of the Kampung Gajah Kompang Association.

Also present were Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Special Functions) and Kuala Kangsar MP Datuk Mastura Mohd Yazid, Deputy Education Minister Dato' Dr. Mah Hang Soon, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Zuki Ali and State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

In his speech, the Prime Minister said today’s challenges, including the changing global economic scenario, could not be tackled by the government alone and required the execution of proactive measures via the modification of certain policies.

"I hope the Malaysian Family becomes the 'eyes and ears' of the government in ensuring that there is no subsidy leakage that will be a loss to us all.

"The Malaysian Family concept is very important to unite us all, regardless of differences in religious and political beliefs, to work together to face them," he said.

He said now was not the time to point fingers, as the challenges today were different and unprecedented, thus requiring all resources to be mobilised to face these challenges and further drive the Malaysian economy.

Meanwhile, contributions were also presented to five poor students who obtained excellent results in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia 2021 examination.

The contribution of Simpan SSPN Prime worth RM1,000 each was presented by Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at the Prime Minister's Department (JPM) booth after the JAKM Perak 2022 Closing Ceremony.
