Members of the public waiting to meet Dato’ Seri Saarani to voice their complaints and problems.

IPOH, 16 August 2022 - The Meet the Clients Day programme conducted by the Perak State Government is committed to providing the people the opportunity to resolve problems and complaints more quickly and face-to-face.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said until 14 June 2022, out of the 573 complaints received, 394 complaints have been resolved and further action taken.

"Throughout the four programme series, among the departments or agencies with the highest number of complaints received were the Ipoh City Council (MBI), Perak Land and Mines Office (PTG) and Kinta District and Land Office (PDT), Batu Gajah.

"For MBI, the main problems and complaints received were on collapsed drains, unmanaged landscaping and disturbing public order. As for PTG, most complaints and applications were related to land disposal and development.

"The main complaints received by PDT Kinta Batu Gajah were problems related to land development, encroachment and disposal," he told reporters after the Meet the Clients Day Fifth Series at the Indera Mulia Stadium this morning.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, State Exco Members and Women and Community Development Secretariat Director Srihartini Mohamed Shamsudin.

Dato' Seri Saarani added that today's special was that visitors will also have the opportunity to attend the Jelajah Kasih Malaysia @ Perak Sejahtera 2030 Programme conducted by the Perak Women and Community Development Secretariat.

"The programme consists of a briefing on the partnership of successful women entrepreneurs and parenting motivation by Dewanita Malaysia Chairman Dato' Hajah Nor Haliza Hussain and Pencetus Ummah Mohammad Amirul Amin Maula Lokman Hakim (PU Amin)," he said.
