KSN Leads List Of 212 Recipients Of State Awards, Medals.

IPOH, 4 November 2022 - Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali led the list of 212 recipients of State Awards and Medals in conjunction with HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah’s 66th Birthday Celebration.
Tan Sri Mohd Zuki, who was appointed as the 15th Chief Secretary to the Government on 1 January 2020, was conferred the Dato' Seri Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (SPCM), which carries the title Dato' Seri.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain was conferred the Dato' Seri Panglima Taming Sari (SPTS), which carries the title Dato' Seri Panglima, while Transport Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Isham Ishak received the Datuk Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM), which carries the title Dato'.
Meanwhile, 15 recipients were awarded the Dato' Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP), which carries the title Dato'.
They were Shah Alam High Court Judge SM Komathy, Foreign Affairs Ministry High Commissioner Zakri Jaafar, Energy and Natural Resources Ministry Secretary-General Dato' Rosli Isa, Treasury Deputy Secretary-General Anis Rizana Mohd Zainudin, National Archives Malaysia Director-General Jaafar Sidek Abdul Rahman, Perak Development Office Director Shamshuzaman Sulaiman and Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital Infectious Disease Medical Consultant Dr. Ker Hong Bee.
The others were Public Works Department Integrated Asset Management Branch Senior Director IR. Zulkipli Nasr, Perak Syariah High Court Chief Judge Ab. Rahman Thobroni Mohd Mansor, Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer Mubarak Ali Gulam Rasul, Karangkraf Media Group Sdn Bhd Board of Directors Chairman Dato' Dr. Hussamuddin Yaacub, National Heart Institute Cardiothoracic Surgery Department Head and Senior Consultant Dr. Alwi Mohamed Yunus, Sunway University Chief Executive Officer Prof. Dr. Lee Fuh Yen, Selangor and Federal Territory Eurasian Association President Sheila Eleanor De Costa and University of Malaya Law Faculty former dean Datin Paduka Prof. Dr. Mehrun Siraj.
The five recipients bestowed the Dato' Pahlawan Taming Sari (DPTS), which carries the title Dato' Pahlawan, were Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Inspector-General First Admiral Abd Halim Shaari, ATM Defence Advisor Brigadier-General Safwan @ Asri Ismail, ATM West Fleet Engineers Commander Major-General Abdul Hamid Mohd Isa.
The others were Royal Military College Health Director Brigadier-General Mohd Ghazalli Mohd Taha and Perak Police Special Branch Senior Assistant Commissioner Shazeli Kahar.
Also, the Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (PCM) was awarded to seven recipients, the Paduka Mahkota Perak (PMP) to 23 recipients and the Ahli Cura Si Manja Kini (ACM) to 16 recipients.
45 individuals received the Ahli Mahkota Perak (AMP), Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) 47 recipients, Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) 41 recipients and Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan (PLP) 10 recipients.
According to Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja General Dato' Seri Diraja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin (Retired), the number of recipients of state awards and medals this year was quite limited.
"The Investiture Ceremony will be held on a date to be approved by the Sultan of Perak.
"This year's celebration will begin with a thanksgiving ceremony that includes reading of surah Yasin, tahlil and doa selamat at the Ubudiah Mosque, Kuala Kangsar today," he said in a press conference at Laman Seri Ridzuan here.
Also present was State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.
The people of Perak are asked to celebrate together and enliven HRH Sultan of Perak’s Birthday Celebration by flying the state flag in their respective office buildings, businesses and residences.
