HRH Sultan of Perak inspecting the guard of honour.

IPOH, 20 December 2022 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Official Opening Ceremony of the First Year of the 15th Perak State Assembly at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan Building here.

The arrival of His Royal Highness and HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim at about 10.30 am was greeted by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Perak State Assembly Speaker Dato' Mohamad Zahir Dato' Abdul Khalid and State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

As soon as His Royal Highness arrived at Dataran SUK Perak, the Ipoh Royal Malaysian Air Force Academy Band led by Lieutenant Mohd Hanif Che Razak played the Perak state anthem.

HRH Sultan Nazrin then inspected the Guard of Honour mounted by three officers and 102 personnel of the General Operations Force 1st Battalion, Ulu Kinta Northern Brigade Camp.

The Guard of Honour was commanded by DSP Mohamad Rafizul Rosdi and ASP Mohd Al-Hakim as inspection officer.

After that, HRH Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and HRH Tuanku Zara Salim proceeded to the State Assembly Hall to deliver his Royal Opening Address of the First Year of the 15th Perak State Legislative Assembly.
