Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council Appreciation Ceremony 2023 And Excellent Service Award 2022.

KUALA KANGSAR, 20 February 2023 - Local Authorities (PBT) play an important role in ensuring the sustainability of prosperous urban areas for the people of Perak.
Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Norsham Rahman, representing State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, said this when officiating the Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council (MPKK) Appreciation Ceremony 2023 and Excellent Service Award 2022 at Dewan Jubli Perak this evening.
When reading the State Secretary’s speech, she wished ‘Happy Municipal Day’ to all the MPKK staff.
"I hope today's event will be a catalyst for MPKK to continue its excellent service regardless of the time. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish 'Happy 19th Municipal Anniversary' to all MPKK staff.
"MPKK was established on 1 January 1980 as a District Council, now 43 years old and on 18 February 2004, this administration was upgraded to a Municipal Council. Congratulations and hopefully MPKK will continue to strive to achieve progress," she said.
Meanwhile, she also presented the Excellent Service Award 2022 to 22 recipients, Competency Certificates (99 recipients), Retiree Appreciation Certificates 2022/2023 (11 recipients), Long Service Certificates (7 recipients) and Appreciation Certificates 2022 (5 recipients).
At the event, Nurul Hidayah Harun and Mohamad Zaidi Ahmad Zamani received the Perdana Award as a token of appreciation for their service and contribution to the organisation and community of Kuala Kangsar.
They each received a Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) premium savings certificate worth RM5,000, a velvet sash, tanjak (male recipient) and songket scarf (female recipient), a plaque and a certificate.
Also present were MPKK President Zulqarnain Mohamad, Kuala Kangsar District Officer Zulhisham Ahmad Shukori, Deputy Director (Local Government) Mufidah Mahfuz and MPKK Municipal Secretary Saiful Azli Mohamad Nor.
