HRH Sultan Of Perak Breaks Fast, Officiates Al-Ikhwan Mosque.

TANJUNG MALIM, 30 March 2023 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced a Breaking of Fast Ceremony and officiated the Al-Ikhwan Mosque in Taman Bernam Baru here.
His Royal Highness’ arrival at 6.50pm was welcomed by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Perak Mufti Dato' Wan Zahidi Wan Teh and Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Harith Fadzilah Abdul Halim.
HRH Sultan Nazrin consented to plant a Mimusops Elengi tree, and thence unveiled the plaque curtains symbolising the opening of the mosque.
HRH Sultan of Perak then broke fast with more than 500 congregants and performed the Maghrib prayer before leaving for the reception, followed by the Isyak and Terawih prayers.
His Royal Highness left at about 9.50pm after a group photo session with the guests and mosque committee.
The Al-Ikhwan Mosque was completed in October 2020 with a construction cost of RM6.6 million and can accommodate 1,500 congregants with various facilities provided, including parking, guest rooms, internet and high definition live broadcast recording equipment.
