The Prime Minister greeting traders during his visit to the Taman Jati Ramadan Bazaar.

IPOH, 10 April 2023 - Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim attended a Rahmah Ramadan Breaking Fast Ceremony at Masjid Ittihadiah in Manjoi here.

The Tambun Member of Parliament’s arrival at the mosque at 6.30pm was greeted by about 1,500 guests.

Among those present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Public Services Director-General Dato' Dr. Zulkapli Mohamed, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Exco Members as well as heads of state and federal departments.

At the ceremony, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivered a speech and launched "Semarak Tambun Cinta Al-Quran".

He also performed the congregational Maghrib prayer at the mosque, followed by Isyak and Tarawih prayers and a moreh with 700 worshippers at Masjid Ghufran Mosque in Manjoi here.

Earlier in the afternoon, Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim took the time to attend the Bank Simpanan Nasional Sumbangan Rahmah Programme in Meru Raya and visited the Taman Jati Ramadan Bazaar to greet traders and visitors at the bazaar.
