Handing Over Ceremony Of Raya Goodies To Uniformed Bodies 2023.

IPOH, 12 April 2023 - The state government continued with the tradition of donating Raya goodies by distributing 11,000 Raya food boxes to 16 security forces and uniformed bodies in conjunction with the arrival of Syawal this year.
The handover ceremony at the Perak State Secretariat Banquet Hall was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad.
He expressed his appreciation for the services and sacrifices of these bodies in sacrificing their time and life for the sake of our beloved country.
"This contribution is so that those on duty during Hari Raya do not feel too sad. They can also get to taste kuih raya, ketupat and rendang just like everyone else during the festival," he said.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.
The distribution of the food boxes involved uniformed bodies, including the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Immigration Department, PGA 69 Komando, Perak Air Force Academy, Marine Police Force, Royal Malaysian Navy, State Health Department, General Operations Force, State Fire & Rescue Department and 2nd Brigade Camp.
Earlier, the packaging work was carried out by Perak Menteri Besar’s wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin and assisted by 300 personnel, comprising Perak State Secretariat staff, BAIDURI, PUSPANITA, BAKAT (Laut), BAKAT (Darat), BAKAT (Udara), PERKEP Perak IPK Contingent, PERKEP Perak North Brigade, Persatuan Prihatin Wanita, PERISMA, 2nd Brigade Team and Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency.
The items in the food boxes were rendang tok, dodol, Basmathi rice and coffee.
