The Perak Menteri Besar presenting an XOX sim card mock cheque.

IPOH, 15 September 2023 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad officiated the Taqarrub With Youth Programme at the Youth Friendly Carnival (KAMU) 2023 at the Indera Mulia Stadium here.

The programme started with a congregational Isyak prayer and continued with a nasyid performance by the famous nasyid group UNIC.

This was followed with a religious talk session by PU Riz entitled ‘Kaya Jiwa’.

The event was enlivened with the presence of youths and students from Sekolah Izzudin Shah, Sekolah Raja Perempuan Taayah, Maahad Tahfiz Al-Ansori, Tahfiz Rendah Darul Furqan and Tahfiz Wal Qiraat Addin 7.

Before concluding the event, Dato' Seri Saarani took the opportunity to present an XOX sim card mock cheque to the representatives of the schools.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Education, Higher Education, Youth and Sports Committee Chairman Khairudin Abu Hanipah and heads of state departments and agencies.
