SUNGAI SIPUT, 30 September 2023 - State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim officiated the Launch of "Rasa-Rasa Akuakultur" in conjunction with the Perak Agrofest 2023 Programme at Ladang Infoternak here.

Also present were Fisheries Malaysia Director-General Dato' Adnan Hussain, State Fisheries Director Mohd Ghazali Manap, Kuala Kangsar Territorial Chief Toh Maharaja Indera Dr. Khairil Anuar Arshad and State Agriculture Department Director Norsiyenti Othman.

The "Rasa-Rasa Aquakultur" programme aimed to promote and encourage the community to consume aquaculture fish in their daily meal.

The effort is also beneficial in empowering the aquaculture industry which is now one of the five main focuses of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, apart from meeting the protein needs of Malaysians.

Earlier, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim took the opportunity to pay a visit on the second day of Perak Agrofest 2023.

The Perak Agrofest 2023 will be held for three days from 29 September to 1 October 2023, and various interesting activities such as sales, agricultural, food and animal husbandry demonstrations are provided throughout the programme.
