During this MESRA programme, the Menteri Besar also launched the Perak State Level Innovation Month.

IPOH, 12 October 2023 - The State Government today held the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme series 9/2023 at the Indera Mulia Stadium.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said a total of 187 complaints were received today. Up to the previous series 8, a total of 1,013 out of 1,121 complaints had been resolved, while 108 complaints are still pending.

He added that 69 customer service counters, including the heads of state departments and agencies together with the Menteri Besar and state exco members were involved in serving the customers.

During this MESRA programme, the Menteri Besar also launched the Perak State Level Innovation Month.

This launch symbolised the start of the Perak State Level Innovation Celebration to be held on 1 November 2023. Various contents have been arranged to boost the state level innovation agenda, whether among civil servants, school students or at the local level.

During today's launch, 24 primary and secondary schools throughout the state exhibited their innovation projects.

Dato Seri Saarani also officiated the Presentation Ceremony for Perak Entrepreneur Grant (GeRAK) and Perak Entrepreneur Product Packaging Design Development and Improvement Grant 2023.

"GeRAK is a free grant aid in the form of equipment and non-equipment to help entrepreneurs involved improve their productivity and production efficiency by targeting 900 recipients from all over the state.

"Meanwhile, the Perak Entrepreneur Product Packaging Development and Improvement Grant 2023 is a grant to improve and enhance the packaging of selected entrepreneurs' products. This initiative will also help entrepreneurs market their products more efficiently," he elaborated.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin; State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin; State Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee Chairman Teh Kok Lim; State Women, Family, Social Welfare, Cooperatives and Entrepreneurs Development Committee Chairman Salbiah Mohamed and Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman.

Before ending the programme, Dato' Seri Saarani presented prizes to the winners of the Beautification Competition held during the Perak State Secretariat National Month Celebration 2023, and the Short Video Competition "Malaysia MADANI: Tekad Perpaduan, Penuhi Harapan" in conjunction with the National Month 2023.
