IPOH, 19 October 2023 - Prime Minister's Department (PMD) Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) Director-General S. Letchumanan Shanmugam and his delegation paid a working visit to the Perak State Secretariat (SUK Perak) at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan this afternoon.

His arrival was welcomed by Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Local Government Division Senior Deputy Director Mufidah Mahfoz, Human Resource Management Division Secretary Azraie Harun and Information Management Division Secretary Mohamad Fadzli Tarmizi.

The working visit started with a visit to the Perak State Assembly Hall accompanied by State Assembly and Exco Division Secretary Muhammad Nazri Abdullah.

Then, S. Letchumanan Shanmugam attended an introductory briefing and discussion session at the Operations Room chaired by Dato' Nor Sham Rahman.

Meanwhile, the briefing on the Public Complaints Management System (SISPAA) and State Government Meet The Clients Day Programme was delivered by Corporate Division Principal Assistant State Secretary Anita Amri.

According to S. Letchumanan, the cooperation between departments and agencies regarding public complaints management in this state is very encouraging.

"I was surprised when I was informed that the Perak PCB Director also attended the Perak State Assembly sitting.

"This is the priority given by the Perak State Government in the management of public complaints. In fact, every department and agency should also cooperate to take action and provide immediate feedback to every complaint," he said in his speech.

Also present were PMD PCB Deputy Director-General (Complaints) Mohamed Nasser Abdul Razak, PMD PCB Deputy Director-General (Management) Kamalazira Pauzi and Perak PCB Director Mohd Hizaz Mohd Ibrahim.
