KUALA KANGSAR, 26 January 2024 - The Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council (KKMC) became the first location in 2024 for the One-Day Programme With The State Secretary (SS), Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

The programme at 10.00 am started with a briefing session on the 2024 directions of KKMC by its President Dr. Sakduddin Zamli.

At the briefing, Dr. Sakduddin Zamli outlined three directions, including increasing revenue, best waste management and improving quality of management for 2024.

After that, the programme continued with a question and answer session with Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim together with the MPKK department heads on related issues and improving its service delivery system.

At the session, the State Secretary called on all Local Authorities (PBT) to reflect on their core functions and ensure that their services to the community are carried out responsibly.

Before concluding the visit, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi took the opportunity to visit Memory Lane here, to see the potential of the place which is now one of the tourists’ attractions in Kuala Kangsar.

Also present were Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, Human Resource Management Division Principal Assistant State Secretary Srihartini Mohamed Shamsudin, Corporate Division Principal Assistant State Secretary Anita Amri, Local Government Division Assistant State Secretary Zuriati Zainal and KKMC Secretary Saiful Azli Mohamed Nor.

The One-Day Programme With The State Secretary aims to give space to Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and Perak State Secretariat leaders to fulfill the needs and comprehend the direction of the administration of each district in the state.
