IPOH, 1 April 2024 - A total of 1,000 containers of bubur lambuk were distributed to the staff of the Perak State Secretariat in conjunction with the Preparation and Handing Over of Bubur Lambuk at the bus parking area of Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.

The programme, organised by the Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan Club (KESEDAR) through gotong-royong by about 200 members, started as early as 8.30am for the preparation of raw ingredients up to the process of cooking, packaging and distribution.

The symbolic handover of bubur lambuk was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad.

Also in attendance were State Secretary and KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, and Deputy State Secretary (Management) and KESEDAR Vice President Dato' Nor Sham Rahman.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Assembly Deputy Speaker Jenny Choy Tsi Jen and State Exco Members.

The bubur lambuk was also distributed to the Perak Sports Council (MSN) and Perak Museum Board as members of KESEDAR.

The annual programme aimed at strengthening friendships among staff of the building besides fostering the spirit of charity.
