TAPAH, 22 AUGUST 2024 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin graced the Opening Ceremony of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak Branch Tapah Campus here.

Also present were HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah, HH Raja Puan Muda Perak Tunku Soraya Sultan Abdul Halim Shah and HH Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Dato' Seri Iskandar Raja Ziran@Raja Zaid.

In his speech at the event, Higher Education Minister Dato' Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd. Kadir said the role of higher education is increasingly important in today's rapidly developing world.

"The young generation is now faced with the rapid evolution of technology and various challenges in line with the rapid flow of technology not only in their field of skills, but also in navigating the flow of daily life.

"Therefore, higher learning institutions need to ensure that education and learning are always updated according to current needs. The values ​​of humanity, spirituality, morals and ethics must also be instilled in students so that they are able to face various challenges today," he said.
