IPOH, 24 February 2025 – The Perak State Government remains committed to meeting and listening to the people's problems face-to-face and efficiently via the Government Meet The Clients Day (MCD) 2025 Series 1.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said that the programme, introduced since 2022, will continue this year by providing the best platform for the people to interact directly with the state government leadership.
"Today, a total of 137 complaints were received; the state government takes every problem raised seriously and is committed to resolving them thoroughly and effectively.
"As usual, the complaints received are mostly related to land matters. However, many also deal with matters involving the Exco and related agencies, including housing problems, duties of the Ipoh City Council (MBI), and the need for facilities such as roads," he said at a press conference after the Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme 2025 Series 1 at the Indera Mulia Stadium here.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim and State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin.
According to Dato' Seri Saarani, the organisation of the Government MCD 2025 Series 1 involved 92 customer service counters, 10 exhibition booths and 7 mobile counters, providing a wider access to the people.
"In addition, Cheap Sales and Rahmah Sales are also held to help the people get essential goods at lower prices, especially in preparation for Ramadan.
"The State Government would like to express its appreciation to all parties who have worked hard to make this programme a success, especially the Perak State Secretariat, district offices, local authorities, and the departments and agencies involved," he added.
