The State Secretary welcoming the KPPA’s arrival at the Dinner Reception with State Government Officers.

IPOH, 23 April 2025 – The dinner reception of the Perak State Government officers with Public Service Director-General (KPPA) Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere at Restaurant Pakeeza here.

The dinner was held in conjunction with Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan’s visit to Perak as an initiative to strengthen strategic collaboration between the state and federal public services.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, Public Service Deputy Director-General (Development) Dr Mohd Bakhari Ismail, Public Service Deputy Director-General (Operations) Dato' Indera Nik Nasarudin Mohd Zawawi, Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, Deputy State Secretary (Development) Halizah Sipun, and heads of state and federal departments.

This casual session also served as a platform for informal interaction between the top leadership of the public service, providing space for the sharing of ideas, experiences and views on the administration’s direction, as well as current challenges, in line with the aspirations of the State and Federal Government policies.

It was also a symbol of appreciation for the important role of government officers in successfully implementing state development policies and agendas, besides being a platform to foster teamwork, openness and unity among all parties involved in the public service.

Hopefully, initiatives like this will continue to strengthen state and federal relations for efficient, integrity-driven and responsive governance towards meeting the needs of the people.
