The Perak Menteri Besar during the MCD MESRA Programme Series 7/2025.

IPOH, 29 September 2025 - The Perak State Government continues its commitment to reach out directly to the people through the organisation of the Meet The Clients Day (MCD) MESRA Programme Series 7/2025 held at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) here.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said this is the third time MCD has been held in Ipoh this year.

"Today, a total of 167 complaints were received, covering various issues and problems faced by the people. Up to the Sixth Series, 773 complaints have been received, with 701 complaints (91%) resolved, while 72 complaints (9%) are still pending.

"This clearly demonstrates the State Government's dedication to ensuring public services are always close to the hearts of the people, regardless of background," he said at a press conference after the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme Series 7/2025.

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members and heads of state and federal departments.

Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said that this MCD involved 106 customer service counters, 5 mobile counters and 10 exhibition booths.

 "Cheap Sales and Rahmah Sales are also provided to facilitate people’s access to government services and at the same time help ease the cost of living.

"This edition also features aerobics activities, along with sessions of Pocket Talk: Mental Health by the Perak Health Department (JKN) and Pocket Talk: Perak Sejahtera 2030 Plan, to raise awareness of personal well-being and the direction of state development," he added.

At the programme, Dato' Seri Saarani also officiated the Handover Ceremony of Skim dan Ehsan Pendidikan (SDEP) Yayasan Pelajaran MARA (YPM), a one-off financial aid programme for eligible students to ease their study burdens.
