IPOH, 5 January 2026 – State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim today received a courtesy visit from Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) Director Dr. Fakhruddin Amran in an official meeting at Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan here.

Also present during the visit was State Health Department Director Dato' Dr. Feisul Idzwan Mustapha.

The visit aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation between the health sector and the Perak State Government, besides exchanging views on improving public healthcare services and managing the state’s main hospital facilities.

The meeting focused on discussions related to dengue control and prevention measures in Perak, including strengthening cooperation between government agencies, local authorities and the local community.

Emphasis was also given to efforts to raise public awareness on the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness to break the Aedes mosquito breeding cycle.

During the meeting, the Perak State Government expressed its appreciation for the continuous commitment of HRPB and State Health Department in ensuring the delivery of healthcare services that are efficient, effective and focused on the well-being of the people.

Meanwhile, the management of HRPB and State Health Department also expressed their commitment to continue to intensify public awareness programmes and strengthen infectious disease prevention actions through a comprehensive approach involving various parties.

The courtesy visit reflected the close working relationship between the Perak State Government and health agencies in efforts to strengthen the state healthcare system and ensure that the well-being of the people is always safeguarded.
