Perak State Government Strengthens Approach To Be Togeher With The People Via Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme : 29 January 2026.

IPOH, 29 January 2026 – The first series of the Meet The Clients Day (HBP) MESRA Programme this year recorded 216 complaints, proving the people’s confidence in the State Government’s ability to resolve various issues and complaints.
According to Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, the State Government successfully resolved 1,011 out of 1,119 complaints received in 2025 via eight HBP series.
He said this to reporters after the first HBP series held at Stadium Indera Mulia here.
For this edition, a total of 96 service counters involving various state government departments and agencies were provided, including two mobile counters and Jualan Rahmah.
Meanwhile, the Perak State Government also appreciated the achievements of state athletes at the national and international levels by giving the Perak Sports Excellence Incentive 2025 to 40 athletes totalling RM45,650 and the Thailand SEA Games 2025 Victory Incentive to 45 Perak-born athletes totalling RM93,800.
This comprehensive approach, combining people’s agenda and state development, reflects the State Government’s ability to optimise resources, facilitate access to services and ensure that every initiative implemented directly benefits the wellbeing of the people and the progress of the state.
Also present were State Assembly Speaker Dato’ Seri Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato’ Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and State Exco Members.
At the same time, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad also presented appointment letters to the Perak contingent leadership for the Malaysia Games (SUKMA) XXII 2026 in Selangor, as an initial step to strengthen the state’s preparations for the prestigious event.
The Perak contingent is led by Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi as Chef de Mission, assisted by Dato’ Mohd Zaki and Datuk Leong Mun Yee, former national diver, as Deputy Chefs de Mission.
The State Government is also strengthening support for sports development through the implementation of the Sistem Angkat and the handover of a new bus to the State Sports Council to facilitate logistics and athlete welfare ahead of SUKMA 2026.
