HRH Sultan of Perak arriving at Masjid Ubudiah, Kuala Kangsar to perform the Aidilfitri Prayers

KUALA KANGSAR, 21 March 2026 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah performed the Aidilfitri Prayers at Masjid Ubudiah here.

Accompanying the Sultan were HH Raja Muda Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzurkarnain Sultan Idris Shah.

HH Raja Kecil Besar Perak, Raja Dato’ Seri Azlan Muzzaffar Shah Nazrin Shah and HH Raja Kecil Sulong Perak, Raja Dato’ Seri Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah Ashman Shah were also in attendance.

Also present were also Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja Gen. (Rtd) Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd. Zahidi Zainuddin, State Assembly Speaker Dato' Seri Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Advisor Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Exco Members, State Senators, Perak Territorial Chiefs and state and federal department heads.

After the Aidilfitri prayers, Sultan Nazrin, together with over 1,000 congregants, listened to a sermon titled “Aidilfitri: Hari Kemenangan dan Kesatuan Ummah”, which called upon Muslims to return to the bonds of brotherhood and to let go of grudges against each other.

Then, Sultan Nazrin visited the tomb of his late father, HRH Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuf Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah and the tomb of his late brother, Raja Dato' Seri Ashman Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah at the Al-Ghufran Royal Mausoleum, Bukit Chandan, Kuala Kangsar.

After that, the Sultan proceeded to a banquet with state and federal department heads at Istana Iskandariah.

HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim and HH Raja Puan Muda Perak, Tunku Soraya Abdul Halim were also in attendance.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar’s wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja’s wife Toh Puan Datin Seri Diraja Puan Sri Hajah Rasiah Md. Nor, State Assembly Speaker’s wife Datin Aznee Abu Samah and State Secretary’s Datin Che Fauziah Ahmad.
