BOTA, 9 February 2021 – HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah has advised that the feedback and views of supporters on the new Perak FC team logo be heard, respected and given attention. State Youth, Sports, Communications and Multimedia Committee chairman Khairul Shahril Mohamed said, following the command, an open competition to design a new Perak FC logo would be held to select a new logo to be used by The Boss Gaurus team. “The Sultan reminded us that football is the people's sport with the most fans in Malaysia; therefore, the people’s voice and choice must be obtained, respected and appreciated. "Sultan Nazrin advised that it is best to hold a competition to design a new logo with participation open to everyone," he said in a press conference at the Bota State Legislative Assembly Service Centre.

He added that the selection of the new logo would be done by an evaluation panel comprising various knowledgeable, concerned and interested parties before being endorsed.

"To uphold the command of HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Perak FC is hereby advised to appoint an evaluation panel and after consultation with the various concerned and interested parties, the new logo will be collectively agreed upon for endorsement," he said. For any information related to the competition, kindly refer to the Perak TBG's official social site on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
