IPOH, 28 April 2021 - HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State Level Nuzul Al-Quran Celebration at the State Mosque, Masjid Sultan Idris Shah II here today.

Accompanying the Sultan were HH Raja Muda Perak Raja Jaafar Almarhum Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja DiHilir Perak Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah.

Also present were State Rural Development, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Committee Chairman Dato’ Zainol Fadzi Paharuddin representing the Menteri Besar Perak, State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, MAIPk President Dato’ Seri Mohd Annuar Zaini and Perak Islamic Religious Department Director Dato’ Yusop Husin.

The ceremony began with a Quran recital, followed by Tahlil and Doa Selamat before His Royal Highness graced a breaking of fast with more than 300 guests.

HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah together with the guests and members of the public present then performed the Maghrib prayer in congregation.

At the event, the Sultan also presented Hari Raya aid from the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) zakat fund totalling RM7.8 million to the penghulus from each district, representing 31,296 recipients throughout the state.
