The Perak Menteri Besar delivering his speech.

IPOH, 3 February 2022 - Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin attended the Chinese New Year Celebration 2022 organised by the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) at the Weil Hotel, here today.

His arrival at 10.00am was greeted by the PCCI leadership team led by its President Dato’ Liew Chee Ming.

The joyous celebration was livened up with a lion dance and other performances with the attendance of about 300 people in accordance to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set.

During the celebration, Dato' Seri Saarani together with other guests also performed the tossing of yee sang, symbolising good luck and prosperity.

Also present were Deputy Minister of Education Dato' Dr. Mah Hang Soon, Ipoh Timur Member of Parliament Wong Kah Woh, ADUN Aulong Nga Kor Ming and ADUN Canning Jenny Choi.
