Meet The Clients Day Venue For People’s Complaints, 143 Complaints Resolved.

IPOH, 7 June 2022 - The state government continued to focus on resolving the people's complaints via the Meet the Clients Day Fourth Series conducted today.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said until now, a total of 1,285 customers have attended the programme and 143 complaints were resolved or pending further action.
“For the previous three series, three departments and agencies which received the highest number of complaints were the Ipoh City Council (MBI), Perak Land and Mines Office (PTG) and Perak Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS).
“Among the main complaints received by MBI were issues on domestic waste management, stray dogs and potholes while for PTG Perak, most complaints were related to land disposal and development.
He said this to reporters after the Meet the Clients Day Fourth Series at the Indera Mulia Stadium here.
Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin and State Financial Officer Dato' Zulazlan Abu Hassan.
According to the Menteri Besar, the complaints received by Perak DID were related to floods, i.e., rivers and drains not maintained until floods, bank erosion due to heavy rains and also requests to widen and raise bunds to prevent floods.
"Until today, we have received the same complaints on the matters concerned, and today a total of 84 visitors came to express their problems.
"A total of 84 complaints were received and the state government will try to resolve their problems as best as possible, however, certain complaints can be resolved immediately and some require more time," he added.
The Meet the Clients Day Fourth Series was a success involving various government departments and agencies, comprising 108 customer service counters, 23 exhibition booths and mobile counter services.
