Dato' Kamarudin Abdullah delivering the Tazkirah Khas Maal Hijrah entitled 'Hijrah Membina Kesatuan Ummah'.

LENGGONG, 29 July 2022 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad officiated the Perak State Level Eve of Maal Hijrah Ceremony 1444H/2022 at Masjid Jamek Daerah Lenggong here.

The ceremony at 6.45pm began with the recitation of Surah Yassin and tahlil led by Masjid Jamek Daerah Lenggong Imam Ahmad Kushairi Mohamad, followed by the recitation of doa akhir tahun, doa awal tahun and the Maghrib prayer.

After the Maghrib prayer, the ceremony continued with the Tazkirah Khas Maal Hijrah entitled 'Hijrah Membina Kesatuan Ummah' by Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisation (MAPIM) Dakwah Affairs Director Dato' Kamarudin Abdullah.

Then, Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and the other congregants performed the Isyak prayer before the ceremony ended with a reception.

Also present to enliven the event were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Exco Members and Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Dato' Mohd Yusop Husin.
