KESEDAR members working together in preparing the sacrificial meat this year.

IPOH, 3 July 2023 – The Perak State Secretariat (SUK Perak) through Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (KESEDAR) held a Gotong-Royong Kenduri Korban Programme in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration at the Perak Darul Ridzuan Building bus park this morning.

A total of 28 KESEDAR members were selected as korban participants this year.

For this year, four cows were sacrificed. Two of the cows were donated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, while the other 2 were donated by State Secretary and KESEDAR President Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

Both contributors were also present to liven up the programme.

The gotong royong started as early as 8.30am and was joined by 200 State Secretariat staff. Among the tasks carried out were skinning, packaging, cooking of various dishes such as Daging Masak Hitam, Sup Tulang and Sambal Paru, Lampung and Hati.

Earlier, the slaughtering process of the cows was done at A. Karim Enterprise, Pengkalan Baru, Pantai Remis on 1 July (last Saturday) and at Rumah Sembelihan Ipoh on 2 July (last Sunday).

Also present were State Legal Adviser Dato' Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and Deputy State Secretary (Management) Dato' Nor Sham Rahman, who is also the Vice President of KESEDAR.

After completion of the work, the sacrificial meat was distributed to the target groups and all those on duty.
