SELAMA, 15 September 2023 - The Selama District Council (SDC) was the third location for the One-Day Programme with State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim.

The programme began with a visit to the departments to see the administrative process and a friendly session with SDC staff.

The State Secretary was then taken to the Selama District Virtual Tour Demonstration Session to feel for himself the virtual tourism experience.

After that, the programme continued with a briefing session by SDC President Nor Akmal Yang Ghazali on introduction to the administration and the role of SDC in driving the Perak Sejahtera Plan 2030.

This was followed with a site visit at Taman Cempasari to see the proposed integrated development project between the Perak State Secretary Incorporated (SSI) and SDC.

Before concluding the programme, Dato' Ahmad Suaidi took the opportunity to go to Rumah Rehat Selama (Selama Inn) for a briefing session on the Selama Inn Lobby Upgrading Project in preparation for the Visit Perak Year 2024, and a lunch reception with SDC staff.

Also present were Larut, Matang and Selama District Officer Mohd Nasrul Menhat, State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN) Senior Deputy Director Haslinda Alias, Local Government Division Senior Deputy Director Mufidah Mahfoz, Corporate Division Principal Assistant Secretary Anita Amri and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Zulkefli Abdullah.

The One-Day Programme With The State Secretary aims to give space to Dato' Ahmad Suaidi and Perak State Secretariat leaders to fulfill the needs and comprehend the direction of the administration of each district in the state.
