The Perak Menteri Besar and wife with Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid at the BSAS Berselawat Programme.

IPOH, 2 January 2024 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad and wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubin attended the Bulatan Sultan Azlan Shah (BSAS) Berselawat Programme with Ustaz Don Daniyal Don Biyajid, organised by the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) here.

The programme at about 9pm started with the recitation of Surah At-Taubah, verses 122 to 129 by Perak Tilawah Al-Quran 2023 qari champion Mohd Kamaruzaman Daud.

The programme, held in conjunction with the New Year 2024, continued with the recitation of selawat and zikr by Kumpulan Qasidah Majelis Rasulullah from Gerik, and followed with a talk entitled 'Mindset Tahun Baru' by Ustaz Don Daniyal.

The religious programme was seen as a unification arena for more than 1,000 Muslims from all over Perak in expressing praise to Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Also present were State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin; State Rural Development, Plantation, Agriculture and Food Industry Committee Chairman Dato' Mohd Zolkafly Harun; State Infrastructure, Energy, Water and Public Transport Committee Chairman Dato' Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin; State Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development Committee Chairman Dato' Salbiah Mohamed; PKNP Chief Executive Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak and Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) Director Harith Fadzilah Abdul Halim.
