IPOH, 3 January 2024 - Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad officiated the Perak Civil Servant Seminar and Assembly organised by the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Services (CUEPACS) at Dewan Bankuet, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan.

According to the Menteri Besar, a total of 773 grade 11 officers have been promoted to grade 14 as Personal-To-Holder (KUP) involving an estimated cost of RM6 million via the Perak Public Services Promotion Board for the Implementation Group.

"In addition, the Perak State Government has also approved the Special Responsibility Allowance (ETK) Proposal for the Implementation Group Grades N26/W26/N28/W28 under the Perak State Secretary Administration.

"The granting of this allowance is as an encouragement and incentive to the implementation group on the appointment grade with the potential to apply and fill the vacancy in the promotion grade, while taking into account the heavier and more complex duties in the new, bigger department," he said in his speech at the programme.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, CUEPACS President Dato' Dr. Adnan Mat, State Human Resources, Health, Indian Community Affairs and National Integration Committee Chairman Sivanesan A/L Achalingam and State Exco Members.

The programme started at 8.30am with a briefing session on the Multi-Benefit Savings and Health Scheme by CUEPACS Living Care Manager James D. Ravi.

The session was continued by Perak State Social Security Organization (PERKESO) Deputy Director Roslan Pilus regarding the Housewife Social Security Scheme (SKSSR).

The briefing session was concluded by the Vice President of Corporate Strategy Department, Retirement Fund (KWAP) Aizul Fahmi Nizaruddin on the role of KWAP in the public service.

The programme was attended by more than 800 civil servants from throughout Perak.
