The Perak Menteri Besar at the Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme Series 1/2024.

IPOH, 4 January 2024 - The Perak State Government held the first series of Meet The Clients Day (MCD) for 2024 as a continuation of the programme that was first started on 8 February 2022.

Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad said throughout the period of organising the 17 series of MCD held from 2022 to last year, a total of 2,280 or 97% of the 2,356 complaints received were successfully resolved.

"This clearly shows the state government's commitment in continuing the go to the ground approach as one of the pillars of government administration.

"This inclusive approach allows the entire administrative machinery to meet the people themselves by listening to and solving their problems," he said.

He said this in a press conference after the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day Mesra Programme 2024 Series 1 at the Indera Mulia Stadium here.

Also present were State Secretary Dato' Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Financial Officer Dato' Mohd Zaki Mahyudin and MB Inc Chief Executive Officer Anuar Zainal Abidin.

Dato' Seri Saarani added that in order to strengthen the implementation of MCD, the programme will continue to be organised in rotation.

"After this, all districts will be involved for the MCD programmes, apart from the main location at the Indera Mulia Stadium.

"This rotation aims to give the opportunity to the people of Perak who are outside the district to come and voice their problems," he said.

Meanwhile, the organising of MCD 2024 Series 1 involved 69 customer service counters, six mobile counters, 26 exhibition booths and cheap sale booths from Yayasan Bina Upaya and Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (PPPNP).
